  1. You Need To Reset Your Life

  2. 00:00This is for those times where life
  3. 00:02starts to lose its wonder and zest. When
  4. 00:04you feel more tired than you do calm.
  5. 00:07When you may not realize you're using
  6. 00:08coffee as a security blanket. When you
  7. 00:10start to notice dark circles under your
  8. 00:12eyes. When you look back to a time where
  9. 00:15life felt seamless and almost magical.
  10. 00:17Because there's a harsh reality of
  11. 00:19living in today's world. By simply
  12. 00:21living, we take on risk. But not the
  13. 00:24good type of risk. The risk of binge
  14. 00:26tech like social media, streaming,
  15. 00:28gaming, and news. The risk of simulated
  16. 00:30sexual stimulation like pornography, and
  17. 00:33dating apps. The risk of consumables
  18. 00:35like alcohol, drugs, and junk food. The
  19. 00:37risk of thrillseeking like gambling,
  20. 00:39shopping sprees, or extreme sports. Now,
  21. 00:42I'm not one to demonize your actions
  22. 00:43here. I'm not a saint by any means. I'm
  23. 00:46just a guy who studies weird stuff and
  24. 00:48shares what he learns on the internet
  25. 00:49for money, sure, but also meaning.
  26. 00:52Because if I wanted to get filthy rich,
  27. 00:54I'd start a religion. Most people online
  28. 00:57love to put on this guise of perfection.
  29. 01:00They'll be the first to tell you when
  30. 01:02you're doing something that's just
  31. 01:04slightly bad. But when you look at their
  32. 01:06life, they're usually not in the
  33. 01:08physical, mental, spiritual, or
  34. 01:10financial situation that you would ever
  35. 01:12want to be in. And that's the thing.
  36. 01:13You've done what someone else thinks is
  37. 01:16bad at least 5 to 10 to 100 times this
  38. 01:19week. and so have the people that think
  39. 01:22what you're doing is bad. And that's
  40. 01:24fine. But we're not here to discuss
  41. 01:26morality behind all of this. Instead, I
  42. 01:29want to talk about this. When you live
  43. 01:30in today's world of convenient quick
  44. 01:33pleasures, and if you don't want to
  45. 01:34become a monk, because if you did want
  46. 01:36that, it's out of ego, which I find
  47. 01:38funny, then you need a tool to perform a
  48. 01:41factory reset on your life. Humans
  49. 01:44create tools to solve problems.
  50. 01:46Technology creates problems, but it also
  51. 01:48allows humans to do what used to be
  52. 01:50impossible. Meaning, in this world of
  53. 01:52technology, you need some kind of tool
  54. 01:55to mitigate the problems that technology
  55. 01:58causes. If you're not going to go and
  56. 02:00live off in the woods, then you need to
  57. 02:02implement something into your life that
  58. 02:04helps mitigate the risk of using your
  59. 02:06phone, using the internet, being around
  60. 02:08cheap and convenient foods, etc. So, if
  61. 02:11you do what we're going to talk about at
  62. 02:12least once a year for 30 days at a time,
  63. 02:15you will buffer the consequences of
  64. 02:17modern life. In other words, you will
  65. 02:19bring that childlike wonder back into
  66. 02:23your life. That feeling of not caring,
  67. 02:26that feeling of non-narrow-mindedness,
  68. 02:28of open-mindedness, of not being stuck
  69. 02:30in your head all day and actually being
  70. 02:32able to experience life on a deeper
  71. 02:34level. So, before we talk about the
  72. 02:36actual dopamine detox protocol, let's
  73. 02:38talk about the brain. Let's talk about
  74. 02:40what's going on, why this cheap dopamine
  75. 02:42epidemic is such a problem. And I also
  76. 02:44want to note that Superhum 90, which is
  77. 02:47a protocol to reset your life in 90 days
  78. 02:49instead of 30 like we're talking about
  79. 02:51in this video with training, nutrition,
  80. 02:53and lifestyle systems, that goes live on
  81. 02:55October 28th, and the price increases
  82. 02:58then. So, if you want to check it out,
  83. The Cheap Dopamine Epidemic

  84. 03:00link in the description. Your brain
  85. 03:01operates on a salience network, meaning
  86. 03:04whatever provides the most dopamine
  87. 03:06becomes the most important. I think you
  88. 03:08can already see how big of a problem
  89. 03:09that can become. But let's have some fun
  90. 03:11and let's break it down. As we've
  91. 03:13discussed way too many times, Mihi
  92. 03:15Chickpet Mihi, the godfather of flow,
  93. 03:17the flow psychologist, he found that
  94. 03:19flow states or the optimal state of
  95. 03:21human experience or just pure enjoyment
  96. 03:24require a specific skill to challenge
  97. 03:27ratio. If the challenge of a goal is too
  98. 03:29high for your skill level, you get
  99. 03:31anxious. If the challenge is too low,
  100. 03:33you get bored. You wouldn't fight a
  101. 03:35level 100 character when you are a level
  102. 03:37one. It just doesn't make sense. Over
  103. 03:39stimulation destroys the potential for
  104. 03:42flow states or enjoyment because it
  105. 03:44raises the bar for what you consider
  106. 03:47stimulating. Everything that is more
  107. 03:48boring than your phone, gambling, porn,
  108. 03:51partying, and the rest is automatically
  109. 03:53labeled as boring by your brain. So, a
  110. 03:56dopamine detox has become a
  111. 03:58well-marketed way of resetting your
  112. 04:00baseline for stimulation. And it works
  113. 04:02so well for three reasons. The first is
  114. 04:05that boredom is the gateway to novelty.
  115. 04:08Carl Young, OG psychologist, harped on
  116. 04:10the importance of shadow work or
  117. 04:12confronting the uncomfortable aspects of
  118. 04:14ourselves we typically avoid. Sitting
  119. 04:16with boredom does just this. It
  120. 04:18activates breakthrough insights. When
  121. 04:20the rational mind stops trying to solve
  122. 04:22everything, it reveals our authentic
  123. 04:24desires beneath external conditioning.
  124. 04:26It sets the scene for three flow
  125. 04:28triggers, making you more likely to
  126. 04:30enter a season of intense learning and
  127. 04:32building. The first trigger is deep
  128. 04:34embodiment, so being present with
  129. 04:35discomfort. The second is novelty,
  130. 04:38because boredom forces you to seek new,
  131. 04:40healthier stimulation. And the third is
  132. 04:42unpredictability, not knowing what will
  133. 04:44emerge from the void. You're bored
  134. 04:46because you don't have a quest. You
  135. 04:48don't have a quest because you're
  136. 04:50playing someone else's game. And
  137. 04:51counterintuitively, the solution is to
  138. 04:54stop playing any game and sit with your
  139. 04:57boredom until your own becomes clear.
  140. 04:59Now, the second reason that dopamine
  141. 05:01detoxes work so well is that the brain
  142. 05:03will upregulate dopamine receptors when
  143. 05:05deprived. Because hyonic adaptation is
  144. 05:08your psychological thermostat. No matter
  145. 05:10how high or low the temperature goes, it
  146. 05:13always tries to return to the set point.
  147. 05:15This creates what psychologists call the
  148. 05:17hydonic treadmill. You're always running
  149. 05:19toward the next source of pleasure, but
  150. 05:20the satisfaction never lasts. Each
  151. 05:22experience becomes your new normal,
  152. 05:24requiring more intense stimulation to
  153. 05:26achieve the same emotional high. But
  154. 05:28when you deprive yourself of pleasure,
  155. 05:31the opposite happens. It's a hydonic
  156. 05:33treadmill reversal. Slowly, then
  157. 05:35rapidly, simple pleasures become
  158. 05:37enjoyable again. You experience what the
  159. 05:39Buddhists call beginner's mind. You
  160. 05:41notice the detail in the sky when you
  161. 05:43walk outside. You notice the hint of
  162. 05:45rosemary in a well-cooked meal. life
  163. 05:47becomes electric as it should be. Now,
  164. 05:50the third reason a dopamine detox works
  165. 05:52is that you don't need motivation, you
  166. 05:55need clarity. Now, Nal said, "All of
  167. 05:57humanity's problems stem from man's
  168. 05:59inability to sit quietly in a room
  169. 06:01alone." So, think about that. When was
  170. 06:03the last time that you actually created
  171. 06:05space for emergence? Because that's how
  172. 06:07reality works. Through chaos or a change
  173. 06:10in perspective of chaos, order emerges.
  174. 06:13And when I hear that, I can't help but
  175. 06:15think about this image. A dopamine detox
  176. 06:18creates space for sensemaking. That is
  177. 06:21processing and integrating experience.
  178. 06:23In the information age, modern
  179. 06:25technology creates a context collapse.
  180. 06:27Our brain is only capable of processing
  181. 06:29so much information around 50 bits of
  182. 06:31information per second through our
  183. 06:33conscious attention. So, if you were to
  184. 06:35binge on food over the course of a
  185. 06:37month, you would probably gain a good
  186. 06:39amount of fat. Now, if you were to binge
  187. 06:41on information from social media, as an
  188. 06:43example, every day since you've had the
  189. 06:46app installed on your phone, you're
  190. 06:48walking around mentally obese, and you
  191. 06:50don't notice it because it's become
  192. 06:52normal. It's homeostasis. Now, when you
  193. 06:54deprive yourself to the point of
  194. 06:56boredom, you're almost forced to
  195. 06:58confront all of the problems that you've
  196. 07:00suppressed over the years. Now, it will
  197. 07:02be painful, but if you sit with it long
  198. 07:04enough, you'll receive a burst of
  199. 07:06clarity that launches you into a new
  200. The Dopamine Detox Protocol

  201. 07:08phase of life. So now we can talk about
  202. 07:10the actual dopamine detox protocol. What
  203. 07:13are we going to do for the next 30 days?
  204. 07:15Now the ultimate goal isn't to become an
  205. 07:17aesthetic or a monk or go off and live
  206. 07:20in the woods and never experience modern
  207. 07:21pleasures again. The goal is to develop
  208. 07:24sovereignty and agency. The capacity to
  209. 07:27choose consciously rather than to react
  210. 07:29compulsively. the capacity to notice
  211. 07:31where your life is heading, generate new
  212. 07:33goals that align with the future you
  213. 07:35want, and act toward those goals without
  214. 07:37permission from anyone else. A periodic
  215. 07:39detox is a calibration tool to keep you
  216. 07:42on track every 6 to 12 months. And this
  217. 07:45creates the foundation from what our
  218. 07:47Lord and Savior, Mihi Chic, Mihi,
  219. 07:49considers the highest human aspiration,
  220. 07:51a life composed of flow states where
  221. 07:53challenge and skill dance in perfect
  222. 07:55harmony, creating meaning through
  223. 07:57engaged attention and action. With all
  224. The Pain & Gain Story

  225. 07:59of that said, here's the protocol. Step
  226. 08:01one is the pain and gain story. Because
  227. 08:04before we continue, there's a problem.
  228. 08:06You've watched this far. You like what
  229. 08:09you're hearing. You're motivated to
  230. 08:10change your life. But we all know that
  231. 08:12unless you set the stage for an identity
  232. 08:15shift because all lasting behavior
  233. 08:17change is identity change. You will give
  234. 08:19up in 2 weeks like always. So, you need
  235. 08:22to create a visceral, emotional, and
  236. 08:24specific story. Two stories to be exact.
  237. 08:27one for where your life will end up if
  238. 08:29you keep living in pain and one for who
  239. 08:31you will become if you decide to change.
  240. 08:33Now, for things like this, I love using
  241. 08:36AI. I don't like having AI tell me what
  242. 08:38my pain story is or my gain story is
  243. 08:41because it needs my personal context.
  244. 08:42That's when I like using AI. So, when I
  245. 08:44have to amply give it my personal
  246. 08:46context and it can string things
  247. 08:48together and show me things that I
  248. 08:49didn't know before and it can just be
  249. 08:51difficult to dig into your own head and
  250. 08:54find out what these things are. Usually
  251. 08:56it comes through a few months of just
  252. 08:59going about life and having
  253. 09:01conversations and noticing little things
  254. 09:02here and there that you pick up and you
  255. 09:04realize, oh yeah, I don't want that. I
  256. 09:06do want that. Now I have a piece of this
  257. 09:08story. But you can get that faster by
  258. 09:10conversing with AI in the correct way.
  259. 09:13So I created this extremely extensive AI
  260. 09:16prompt to ask you questions and to help
  261. 09:19determine what your pain and gain story
  262. 09:21is. And this is the foundation for
  263. 09:23having the motivation to actually
  264. 09:25change. Now, a disclaimer here is that I
  265. 09:27programmed this to be pretty intense. I
  266. 09:29told it not to hold back. It digs deep
  267. 09:31and it tries to get to the root of your
  268. 09:33motivation. Now, this is just one prompt
  269. 09:35that I'm giving away for free, but there
  270. 09:37are four more in Superhum 90, the
  271. 09:39complete life reset in 90 days that I
  272. 09:41talked about before. Link in the
  273. 09:43description if you want more of that.
  274. Go Monk Mode

  275. 09:45Now, step two in the protocol is to go
  276. 09:47monk mode. Because if you've never done
  277. 09:49this before, it'll be difficult. And if
  278. 09:51you don't have a deep intrinsic reason
  279. 09:54to see it through, you will probably
  280. 09:56give up very quick. That's why step one
  281. 09:58is so important. Now, for 30 days,
  282. 10:00you're eliminating binge tech, social
  283. 10:02media, streaming, gaming, news, a
  284. 10:04natural sexual stimulation, porn and
  285. 10:06dating apps, consumables, alcohol,
  286. 10:08drugs, junk food, sweetness in general,
  287. 10:10and thrillseeking. So, gambling,
  288. 10:12shopping sprees, extreme sports. Now, if
  289. 10:14you're asking, "What will I do with my
  290. 10:16time, then?" That's the exact problem.
  291. 10:18What do you mean, what do you do with
  292. 10:20your time? You do what non-addicted
  293. 10:22people do. You move. You exercise. You
  294. 10:24talk to people. You prepare your food.
  295. 10:26You learn and build toward your goals.
  296. 10:28And when you aren't doing those things,
  297. 10:29you sit with the boredom until it's no
  298. Walk 10,000 Steps A Day

  299. 10:31longer boring. Now, getting into things
  300. 10:33that you can actually implement in your
  301. 10:35lifestyle. Step three is to walk 10,000
  302. 10:38steps a day. Sounds simple, but hear me
  303. 10:40out. Now, the funny thing here is that
  304. 10:4210,000 steps a day was actually a
  305. 10:43marketing gimmick to help sell
  306. 10:45pedometers. The sweet spot for walking
  307. 10:47is actually 7,000 to 8,000 steps. That's
  308. 10:50where most of the benefits are received.
  309. 10:5210,000 steps just sounds nicer. Now, why
  310. 10:55go on more walks? For most untrained
  311. 10:57people, it's a form of lowintensity
  312. 10:59cardio. It improves digestion, blood
  313. 11:01pressure, and insulin sensitivity,
  314. 11:02helping you to get and stay lean. You
  315. 11:04finally get some sunlight to unfuck your
  316. 11:06circadian health. It's an undistracted
  317. 11:08time to learn something new. So, listen
  318. 11:10to an audiobook or lecture. You can
  319. 11:12resolve mental turmoil and reflect on
  320. 11:14your life. and you can generate ideas
  321. 11:16that can be put to use in your deep work
  322. 11:18sessions. Now, specifically here, I'd
  323. 11:21recommend the 3x 20 method. That's what
  324. 11:23I'm calling it. And what it is, super
  325. 11:25simple. You walk three times a day, 20
  326. 11:28minutes after each major meal,
  327. 11:30breakfast, lunch, dinner. Cuz one, 20
  328. 11:32minutes is more than doable. Two, if you
  329. 11:34do that three times a day, you get all
  330. 11:36the benefits. That is probably going to
  331. 11:38equal 7 to 8,000 steps, and you'll
  332. 11:40probably hit 10,000 if you walk at any
  333. 11:43other time during the day. Because the
  334. 11:44thing here is if you do it morning,
  335. 11:46afternoon, night, you get morning
  336. 11:48sunlight, afternoon sunlight, evening
  337. 11:50sunlight, which will drastically
  338. 11:51increase your sleep quality. You'll be
  339. 11:53dropping water weight and inflammation
  340. 11:55if you've never done this before. And
  341. 11:57you're going to notice a decently
  342. 11:59drastic change in how you look and feel
  343. 12:01within the first 7 days. And this is
  344. 12:03considering you live the average
  345. 12:04American lifestyle. And this is in the
  346. 12:06context of the entire dopamine detox
  347. 12:09protocol. The 10,000 steps is to just
  348. 12:10get you moving. Now, the fourth one
  349. Go To The Gym (Seriously)

  350. 12:12building on top of that is to go to the
  351. 12:14gym. Seriously, because when I look and
  352. 12:17feel terrible, I don't want to do
  353. 12:19anything with my life. I want to hide
  354. 12:21from the world. I don't feel confident
  355. 12:23in my actions. So, I stop caring even
  356. 12:25more. I let myself go. I binge eat. I
  357. 12:28have zero discipline and simply feel
  358. 12:30worse. Now, I personally believe that
  359. 12:32every single person should do some form
  360. 12:34of resistance training. Cardio is great,
  361. 12:37but so is a bit of muscle mass. In my
  362. 12:39own life, I like going to the gym and I
  363. 12:41like walking. Sometimes I do do cardio
  364. 12:44in the morning and I've actually been
  365. 12:45doing more of that just 20 minutes first
  366. 12:47thing when I wake up. But the other
  367. 12:48thing here is that frankly, nobody wants
  368. 12:50to look like a runner. And I'm talking
  369. 12:52about runners who only run and don't
  370. 12:54lift or didn't build their physique by
  371. 12:56lifting and then start running. And
  372. 12:58people think that they got their
  373. 12:59physique from running. That's not how it
  374. 13:00happens. And it's okay to not lie to
  375. 13:02yourself. Men, you want broad shoulders
  376. 13:04and a Vtaper. Women, you want the
  377. 13:06hourglass figure. It's a survival
  378. 13:08mechanism. And you will only create that
  379. 13:10physique in the gym or through some form
  380. 13:12of resistance training. You can do
  381. 13:13calisthenics, you can do at home
  382. 13:15workouts, but the most optimal way and
  383. 13:17arguably the most enjoyable way is to
  384. 13:18just go to the gym. And no, ladies, you
  385. 13:21will never get too bulky. Men have been
  386. 13:22trying to do that their entire lives and
  387. 13:24they still can't do it. Now, beyond
  388. 13:25that, 30 plus minutes of exercise
  389. 13:27provides steady and sustainable dopamine
  390. 13:29release. Physical movement is one of the
  391. 13:31most reliable flow triggers. It creates
  392. 13:33BDNF or brain derived neurotrophic
  393. 13:35factor supporting neuroplasticity.
  394. 13:37Strength training lowers risk of heart
  395. 13:39disease, diabetes, cancer, and early
  396. 13:41death. Plus, muscle protects against
  397. 13:42frailty as you get older. More muscle
  398. 13:45equals higher BMR equals you can eat
  399. 13:47more without gaining fat. And it boosts
  400. 13:49mitochondrial density and efficiency,
  401. 13:51which equals more energy. And I don't
  402. 13:53want to hear the regurgitated lifting
  403. 13:55weights is risky and can get you injured
  404. 13:58because the answer is yes if you're
  405. 14:00stupid or don't know what you're doing.
  406. 14:02So, first learn about it. Two, go to the
  407. 14:04gym. Three, if you want my training or
  408. 14:06also my trainer's training that he's
  409. 14:08given me because Superhum 90 was created
  410. Do An Elimination Diet

  411. 14:10by both of us, check that out. Now, step
  412. 14:12five is to do an elimination diet
  413. 14:14because I love health and fitness. It's
  414. 14:16been a passion of mine for 15 years now
  415. 14:18since I was 15. I just turned 29
  416. 14:21yesterday. And yes, when I was 15, I was
  417. 14:23obsessively tracking calories and
  418. 14:25macros. I've tried every diet under the
  419. 14:28sun. But since I've tried every diet
  420. 14:29under the sun, I understand that they're
  421. 14:31all based on a few principles and I try
  422. 14:33to be non-dogmatic about all of them.
  423. 14:35With that said, I do think that everyone
  424. 14:37should do an elimination diet at least
  425. 14:39once in their life. Why? Because it
  426. 14:41nearly guarantees a drastic boost in
  427. 14:44energy. Two, you'll also lower
  428. 14:45inflammation and drop water weight,
  429. 14:47making you look 10 lbs lighter with a
  430. 14:49tighter jawline. If you actually commit
  431. 14:51to it for 30 plus days, you will rewire
  432. 14:53your eating habits and potentially
  433. 14:55become disgusted at the thought of
  434. 14:57eating hyper palatable foods again. And
  435. 14:59you may find foods that create digestive
  436. 15:00problems, skin problems, headaches, or
  437. 15:02foods that just make you feel terrible
  438. 15:04without you noticing. So, to make this
  439. 15:06simple and not have this video drag on,
  440. 15:08just try the vertical diet. It's by Stan
  441. 15:10Efforing. Many bodybuilders swear by it.
  442. 15:12Many other people swear by it, but
  443. 15:13here's an image. It's pretty simple. red
  444. 15:16meat, very nutrient-dense, white rice,
  445. 15:18easy to digest, and micronutrients from
  446. 15:21various other things. Literally, just
  447. 15:22follow this graph. But this is the diet
  448. 15:24that I kind of return to when I need to
  449. 15:26go back to a baseline, when I find
  450. 15:28myself going out too much or going to
  451. 15:30Chipotle after the gym and starting to
  452. 15:32feel worse or look puffier in the face
  453. 15:34in the morning. But yeah, try it out.
  454. Build A New Project That Increases Your Potential

  455. 15:36Now, step six is to build a new project
  456. 15:39that increases your potential. Now,
  457. 15:41listen to this carefully. The best way
  458. 15:43to learn is to build a real world
  459. 15:45project and only search for information
  460. 15:47when you need it. How much you learn is
  461. 15:49directly correlated with how much
  462. 15:50progress you make on the project. When
  463. 15:53you watch endless tutorials, you fill
  464. 15:55your mind with noise and chaos. Most of
  465. 15:57that information goes to waste. It leads
  466. 15:59to overwhelm, anxiety, and slows down
  467. 16:01how fast you learn. Now, when it comes
  468. 16:03time to build the project, because the
  469. 16:05only reason you're learning in the first
  470. 16:06place is to build the project, you feel
  471. 16:08as if you learn nothing and you have to
  472. 16:10search for the information anyway. So,
  473. 16:12if you want to learn faster, skip the
  474. 16:15tutorial phase. Outline a project first.
  475. 16:18Now, this confuses a lot of people. What
  476. 16:19do you mean by a project? A project is
  477. 16:21anything. Your health can be a project.
  478. 16:24Your business can be a project. A thing
  479. 16:26in Photoshop can be a project. A project
  480. 16:28is simply a structured way of achieving
  481. 16:30a goal or making progress toward a goal.
  482. 16:32It's a way to further narrow your frame
  483. 16:34of reference so your mind biases the
  484. 16:36right information as you learn. As you
  485. 16:39read books, study tutorials, or have
  486. 16:41conversations, good dopamine will spurt
  487. 16:43into your brain to signal that
  488. 16:44information is important for the
  489. 16:46completion of the project. Your
  490. 16:48subconscious will munch on problems and
  491. 16:50send relevant ideas to your conscious
  492. 16:52mind. This is what creatives call shower
  493. 16:54thoughts. It's when the default mode
  494. 16:56network in your brain is active when you
  495. 16:58are at rest. Charles Darwin worked on
  496. 17:01his projects and focused blocks, then
  497. 17:03went on long walks. And on these walks,
  498. 17:05his brain was at rest and potential
  499. 17:06solutions to problems pop into his head.
  500. 17:09Now, here's how you start a project.
  501. 17:11Choose something to build that moves the
  502. 17:13needle toward what you want in life.
  503. 17:15Now, from earlier, this is your pain and
  504. 17:17gain story. Create a note or document
  505. 17:19and brain dump everything that comes to
  506. 17:21mind. Save three to five sources of
  507. 17:23inspiration that you want to emulate. If
  508. 17:25I'm creating a YouTube video as a
  509. 17:26project, I would save three to five
  510. 17:28YouTube videos I would want to create
  511. 17:30similar iterations of. Study those
  512. 17:32sources and break down their structure
  513. 17:33or characteristics. Outline the project
  514. 17:35into sections, milestones, images,
  515. 17:38inspiration, and what you need to know.
  516. 17:40And last, have a place to capture ideas
  517. 17:42that come to mind. Preferably somewhere
  518. 17:44you don't lose the ideas or forget about
  519. 17:46them. So, now that you're ready to
  520. 17:47start, don't start learning. Just start
  521. Reflect For 10 Minutes Every Night

  522. 17:50the project. Now, step seven, and
  523. 17:52arguably the most important one that
  524. 17:54nobody does, is to reflect for 10
  525. 17:57minutes every night. Because your brain
  526. 17:59is constantly trying to process your
  527. 18:01experiences, and when you don't give it
  528. 18:02dedicated time, it hijacks your
  529. 18:04attention at the worst possible moments.
  530. 18:06This is the zygarnic effect. Your brain
  531. 18:09holds on to incomplete tasks and
  532. 18:10unprocessed experiences, creating
  533. 18:12tension that drains your cognitive
  534. 18:14resources. So reflection helps close
  535. 18:16open loops for the day among other
  536. 18:18things like it is an active
  537. 18:20metacognition or thinking about your
  538. 18:22thinking the highest form of human
  539. 18:24intelligence. It builds a feedback loop
  540. 18:26for progress and after 30 days you'll
  541. 18:28have 30 data points about what actually
  542. 18:30moves your life forward. It transforms
  543. 18:32mistakes into data rather than regrets
  544. 18:35and it reduces decision fatigue for
  545. 18:37tomorrow. So, set a non-negotiable alarm
  546. 18:40for 9:30 p.m. or 30 minutes before
  547. 18:43bedtime. And use the 321 framework.
  548. 18:46Three wins, two lessons, one intention
  549. 18:49for the morning. Use a physical
  550. 18:50notebook. Don't go down any digital
  551. 18:52rabbit holes, especially before bed. And
  552. 18:54you can start with 2 minutes if 10
  553. 18:56minutes feels like too much. The
  554. 18:58dopamine detox clears the noise. The
  555. 19:00walking creates space. The gym builds
  556. 19:02confidence. The diet optimizes your
  557. 19:04biology. The project gives you purpose.
  558. 19:06Reflection is how you track mental and
  559. 19:08spiritual progress. Thank you for
  560. 19:10watching. If you want to learn a high
  561. 19:12income skill in today's world, or you
  562. 19:14just want a project to build like we
  563. 19:16talked about in the video, check out
  564. 19:172-hour writer. If you want the full
  565. 19:19dopamine detox training, nutrition
  566. 19:21lifestyle plan, check out Superhum90.
  567. 19:23And if you want a map to reach the 1%, I
  568. 19:26highly recommend watching last week's
  569. 19:28video on the human 3.0 model. And that
  570. 19:31video is called How to Make Progress 10x
  571. 19:33Faster in Your Life. and it's a full
  572. 19:35guide to doing just that. Like,
  573. 19:37subscribe again, comment. Thank you for
  574. 19:39watching. See you in the next one.
